Panel of Physicians

Virginia law requires that an employer offer a panel of at least three physicians to the injured employee for the purpose of providing medical treatment to work related injuries or diseases. If you do not have a panel, refer to the PPO Network provided by MCI. The program also has a second tier Occupational Specialty Network. Workers' Compensation Panel Physician

Documentation of the Panel offering to the injured employee is important. Please provide a copy of the panel offered to, and signed by the employee when filing the EFR. If you do not have a form, you can print the following form or refer to the Workers’ Compensation Manual, PPO tab, last page for a sample copy of the same form.
